Installation Coordinator/Office Assistant


OUR COMPANY IS GROWING!!! ….and we are creating a new position for an installation coordinator and office assistant to work in the office alongside our general manager. No previous hearth experience is required, however, some construction/ trades and customer service experience is helpful. This is a chance to learn about the hearth industry and advance as opportunities are available to the right candidate. The successful candidate will be a self starter, reliable, have some computer knowledge, possess good phone etiquette, and have good mechanical and communications skills. Much of our business comes from client referrals and we strive to provide courteous customer service to all clients with regarding our gas, wood and pellet products.

Each customer should have a positive experience with a professional who can follow through and maintain contact as needed. As a small independent family owned company each employee is a key representative and important part of our team. Candidate must work well with people—both customers and co-workers—and be willing to take direction. Our goal is to ensure our customers are being serviced both properly and professionally, and up to our company standards.


  • schedule active jobs throughout RI and southeastern MA
  • call customers to confirm appointments
  • create bills of lading
  • answer calls and address customer inquiries
  • maintain an organized and clean, efficient work space
  • maintain positive work relationships with co-workers and customers
  • assist general manager in tasks and maintain front office as key representative of the company
  • must be willing to train to acquire detailed product knowledge with the ability and interest to learn piping design and venting principles


  • strong mechanical understanding and good communication skills
  • self starter with a willingness to learn and problem solve issues as they arise
  • good phone etiquette, pleasant, helpful and courteous attitude
  • customer oriented, customer service background a plus
  • ability to read and understand technical manuals and instructions
  • computer skills required
