Inez has more than 20 years experience in the hearth industry and she has worked at FPS for 15 years. Her professional product knowledge is sure to prepare you to make a smart decision for any alternate heat source for your home. Corbett has a marketing and sales background in small business and is always ready to assist you with your fireplace needs. He is an Air Force veteran having completed 2 tours in Kuwait and Qatar. He enjoys spending time with his wife and playing board games.
Ken heads up outside contractor sales for FPS. With over 20 years of experience at FPS, he supplies homeowners and contractors with expertise and information to provide both heat and ambience in their new and existing homes.
Bill has just arrived at FPS and holds a newly created position as a sales coordinator. He has a solid 20 year work history in customer facing retail leadership. In his free time you would likely find Bill hanging in the pool or by the hot tub with his growing family
Kyle is the man who oversees every job. He has obtained his National Fireplace Institute certification and is the person you will meet in your home to measure and evaluate your needs. Stop by on a sunny day and you might find him outside cooking specialities for the crew on the Big Green Egg smoker or on his pellet grill.
Pat is our semi-retired FPS expert with an entire career in hearth industries. He is certified by the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) as a Master Hearth Professional as a wood, gas and pellet specialist. He carries a RI Decorative Heat Appliance license and is a licensed MA construction supervisor.
Mitch joined the FPS team in spring 2019. He has several years experience with outdoor equipment and machinery and is familiar with what and where to find products in our warehouse. He is a huge New England sports fan: GO Pats, GO Sox, GO Bruins, GO Celtics!!
Our capable crew chief Eli is on the job with countless years of experience in the hearth industry. Agile, analytical and eager to manage any installation and also sure to leave your property neat and clean after the job is done!
Terry has over 25 years experience in the hearth industry and has worked for about a decade at FPS. He holds a RI Decorative Heat Appliance license and is a licensed MA construction supervisor. He creates metal sculptures with recycled parts in his spare time- Stop by the showroom and ask to see his work!
Matt is a capable technician who can assist with any project and always with a smile on his face. He quickly grasps concepts needed to succeed in the hearth industry. His Mr. fix-it, troubleshooter, and dabbler in all trades background provides the perfect skill combinations for our hands on jobs in the field and in the shop.
Abi is new to the hearth industry and is a fast learner with his past experience in plumbing, electrics, general construction, maintenance and fabrication. Although born in sunny Puerto Rico he has learned to deal with New England winters and has summers to enjoy watching baseball and the Red Sox. In his off hours he can be found with his family or at the gym.
Before joining our crew, Brett was an experienced finish carpenter. He is used to hard work and is a solid addition to our team. He enjoys hanging with his friends and kayaking around southeastern Massachusetts.
New to the hearth industry but not hard work, Rui is a fast learner and has past experience developing his craft and skills. Before joining the FPS crew, Rui was a premier head chef managing large restaurant kitchens and staff. He enjoys working outdoors, fishing, gardening, and spend time with his family. He is a welcome addition to our staff.
Steve is on the road for FPS and busy diagnosing and repairing wood, gas, and pellet appliances. He is a Master Hearth Professional which is the highest certification level of the NFI; he is also a NFI Instructor. In winter you’ll still find Steve wearing shorts, and hanging out with his handsome search and rescue German shepard, ‘Diesel’ and “Gunnar’ the new pup.
Alan is an experienced service technician with skills in HVAC, maintenance, plumbing and electrical fields. He joined us in 2022 to assist our growing outside service demands and will be working to diagnose and repair your hearth appliances. Alan enjoys hard rock music and attending live concerts.
Hired in May 2023 Liam is working as a service technician on service calls. He will be making calls at your home and working to complete your routine fireplace needs. His attention to detail is what makes him a perfect candidate to assist with our growing service demands. Liam enjoys the outdoors and when not at the shop he may be nearby cheering on his Bruins team or perhaps off hiking and camping in the New Hampshire woods.
With 8 years HVAC experience, Patrick has relocated to RI and finessed his skills in the field as a service technician working on wood, gas, and pellet appliances. He is talented and capable to complete your service requirements in your home. If you catch him on off hours he will likely be accompanied by his tiny teacup Yorkie, Lilly Mae.
After graduating from UMass Amherst, Ryan realized his true pleasure is working with his hands so he spent time learning the trade as a chimney sweep and mason’s apprentice doing chimney restorations, rebuilds and ground up masonry. He then worked 2 years as a lead installer working on gas, wood, and pellet appliances before joining the FPS crew. In his spare time he brews beer and mead and also designs and creates his own metal sand castings — a true handyman!
Although new to the hearth industry, Cheryl comes to FPS with 25 years of experience in customer service in retail, manufacturing, and restaurants. She possesses excellent communication, computer and people skills and this makes her a teriffic addition to our growing team. Cheryl will assist you in the shop, and also be scheduling and assigning service techs in the field. She is a huge Boston sports fan and says her happy place is by the beach.
Rita began her work with FPS in 2021 after many years working as a financial accountant writing macros and doing database management. She assists our controller with ad hoc reporting and P&R. Rita spends her time off with her family and using her camper to visit beautiful Vermont.
Pavel is our pellet truck delivery specialist. He has worked with FPS about a decade and is a master at mechanics and boat building.
Jay manages all financial departments including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchasing. He has worked with FPS over 20 years and holds his MA construction supervisor license. Jay enjoys all sports and is especially an avid baseball fan.
Randy has been in the fireplace business over 25 years and is the owner and managing partner of FPS. He is NFI certified, a licensed MA construction supervisor, and carries the RI Decorative Heat Appliance license. Randy is also a registered Home Improvement Contractor in MA, and is a licensed RI State Energy Auditor.
Kathleen has worked with FPS part time for many years. She does the advertising and marketing and sometimes assists with retail sales.
