Homeowners with a Stove Or Insert Used Very Little Heat This Winter

With the mild winter we have had in Massachusetts, many feel like Spring is right around the corner. But, even so, there are still plenty of reasons to buy a stove or fireplace insert.  Temperatures were lower this winter, but you still need to heat your home. Have you noticed, you probably have not used much less heat despite the fact that we have had very little snow.

However, those who purchased pellet and wood burning fireplaces, stoves or inserts in the last few years didn’t use their heat at all, or used it very little. It may be warmer outside, but your house still needs heat. The newer stoves and inserts are so energy efficient, that many of our clients didn’t even turn on their heat this winter; the fire was enough. They saved thousands of dollars on their heating bills.
