Inez has more than experience in the hearth industry and she has worked at FPS since 2008. Her professional product knowledge is sure to prepare you to make a smart decision for any alternate heat source for your home. Corbett has a marketing and sales background in small business and is always ready to assist you with your fireplace needs. He has worked on our sales floor at FPS since 2021. He is an Air Force veteran having completed 2 tours in Kuwait and Qatar. He enjoys spending time with his wife and playing board games.
Ken heads up outside contractor sales for FPS. Since 2002, he has supplied homeowners and contractors with expertise and information to provide both heat and ambience in their new and existing homes.
Bill arrived at FPS in 2022 and works as our installation coordinator. He has worked hard to obtain his Hearth Design Specialist certificate, a sought after distinction! Before joining our team, he had a solid 20 year history in customer facing retail sales and leadership. In his free time you would likely find Bill hanging in the pool or by the hot tub with his growing family.
Since 2018, Kyle has worked hard to oversee every job and manage personnel at the shop. He is dedicated, educated and is generally the face you will meet in your home to measure and evaluate your needs. Kyle is National Fireplace Institute (NFI) certified, a licensed Massachusetts Construction Supervisor, a certified gas specialist, and carries the RI Decorative Heat Appliance license. He currently serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of the Northeast Hearth, Patio, & Barbeque Association. Stop by on a sunny day and you might find him outside cooking specialities for the crew on the Big Green Egg smoker or on his pellet grill.
Pat is our semi-retired FPS expert with an entire career in the hearth industry and has been at FPS since 2005. He is certified by the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) as a Master Hearth Professional as a wood, gas and pellet specialist. He carries a RI Decorative Heat Appliance license and is a licensed MA construction supervisor.
Mitch joined the FPS team in spring 2019 and meticulously maintains our warehouse and grounds. He has several years experience with outdoor equipment and machinery and is familiar with what and where to find products in our warehouse. Mitch is the guy driving the forklift and ably loading your vehicle with your purchases and pellets. He is a huge New England sports fan: GO Pats, GO Sox, GO Bruins, GO Celtics!!
Terry has over experience in the hearth industry and has worked for FPS since 2016. He holds a RI Decorative Heat Appliance license and is a licensed MA construction supervisor. He creates metal sculptures with recycled parts in his spare time- Stop by the showroom and ask to see his work!
Before joining our crew, Brett was an experienced finish carpenter. Detailed and dedicated to learning all things hearth he is used to hard work and has been a solid addition to our team since 2021. He enjoys hanging with his friends and kayaking around southeastern Massachusetts.
Mike joined our team in 2024 with experience in the masonry and chimney work world. His positive, “can do” mentality is infectious and we are excited to have him as part of our team. If you notice any new videos of installations on our social media, you can thank Mike as well. In his spare time he makes music, videos, and is a loving father to his children.
Charlie always has a smile on his face! He began working as an installer at FPS in early 2025 having had light construction experience and a background in several industries using tools and building products. His focus in off work hours is on his family and he’s considered a sports enthusiast. In summer he may be found kayaking or out fishing with his kids.
Blaze is an installer working with FPS crews on gas, wood and pellet appliances. He has experience venting appliances and roofing, both integral parts of our installations. He enjoys playing pick-up basketball or may be relaxing at home video gaming with his family. Blaze joined the FPS crew in 2025.
Joining our team in 2026, Adam works with a crew to install stoves and inserts in our customer’s homes. He enjoys working with his hands and is comfortable and capable on your roof or in your home. In his time off, Adam enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
A native of Rhode Island John has over 25 years experience doing various aspects of maintenance and construction work including roofing and framing, plumbing, electrics, carpentry, and working on pumps and boilers. He began with FPS joining our install crew in 2026. John prides himself as a bit of a health nut and is head chef in his home; when not cooking you’ll be sure to find him outdoors fishing or playing golf.
Steve joined FPS in 2015 and when not busy diagnosing wood, gas, and pellet appliances he is on the phone troubleshooting issues and scheduling service for our customers. He is a Master Hearth Professional which is the highest certification level of the NFI; he is also a NFI Instructor and is responsible for training our crews. In his free time, Steve enjoys hanging with his handsome search and rescue German shepard, ‘Bode’.
Cheryl comes to FPS with 25 years of experience in customer service in retail, manufacturing, and restaurants. She possesses excellent communication, computer and people skills and this makes her a terrific addition to our growing team. Since 2024, Cheryl has been assisting customers in the shop and on the phone; she is also responsible for scheduling and assigning service techs in the field. She is a huge Boston sports fan and her happy place is by Narragansett beach.
With 8 years prior HVAC experience, Patrick relocated to RI and has honed his skills working in the field since 2024 with FPS as a service technician working on wood, gas, and pellet appliances. He is talented, capable and friendly and can ably complete all your in-home service requirements. In his off hours Patrick is often accompanied by his Black Mouth Cur pup, ‘Guinness’ or Basset Hound-Beagle, ‘Harley’.
After graduating from UMass Amherst, Ryan realized his true pleasure is working with his hands so he spent time learning the trade as a chimney sweep and mason’s apprentice doing chimney restorations, rebuilds and ground up masonry. He then worked 2 years as a lead installer working on gas, wood, and pellet appliances before joining the FPS crew in Spring 2024. In his spare time he brews beer and mead and also designs and creates his own metal sand castings — a true handyman!
Having had previous experience with venting and mechanical systems, Josh easily transitioned to servicing hearth appliances. With an array of mechanical skills in HVAC, electrical, duct work, refrigeration and appliance repair, Josh is prepared to assess the most complex issues. When not at work he is busy with his home construction projects.
Jay manages all financial departments including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchasing. He has worked with FPS since the year 2000 and holds his MA construction supervisor license. Jay enjoys all sports and is especially an avid baseball fan.
Randy has been in the fireplace business since 1999 and is the owner and managing partner of FPS. He is NFI certified, a licensed MA construction supervisor, and carries the RI Decorative Heat Appliance license. Randy is also a registered Home Improvement Contractor in MA, and is a licensed RI State Energy Auditor.
