Take Advantage of the Home Energy Tax Credit

You only have a few more weeks to take advantage of the Home Energy Tax Credit. You have until December 31, 2011 to purchase your wood or pellet burning fireplace, wood or pellet fireplace insert, or a pellet or wood burning stove if you want to take advantage of this tax credit.

If you buy a stove, fireplace, or insert that uses a renewable resource for fuel, you can take advantage of the tax credit. What is a renewable resource? Whatever burns firewood or wood pellets.
